FAQ

  • What sizes are available?
For finished items, the size of the item will be in the listing itself. For commissioned items, they will be made to your measurements, and I will be in contact to make sure everything will fit you.
  • What does the shawl sizes mean?
The shawl sizes have nothing to do with a clothing size, but refers to how much yarn was used. Check the listing to see the measurements of the respective shawls, or send me a message if you have any questions about it.
  • What materials do you use?
For yarns, I use just about any kind. The yarn types will be in the listings for finished items. For commissions, you will be able to choose the yarn to an extent, as not all yarns that are available in the US will be available in Denmark. My favourite type of yarn is cake yarns from Hobbii, and I am very used to working in 8/4 cotton. Yarns of weight 1 and 2 are my most used weights.
  • What if I want to commission an item with a specific yarn?
You can absolutely ask for specific yarns, and I will do anything I can to fulfill your request
  • What if I have the yarn and want you to use that?
Again, absolutely an option, and we will then figure out the details of it together. Even if you don't have the yarn on hand right away, I can give you an estimate for what I will need to make the item you want, so you can go yarn shopping and send it to me. If you do this, you will get a discount on the item, and if there are any yarns left over at the end, that will further be discounted unless you would like for me to send it back to you with your item. The total discount will be calculated when your yarns arrive, and you will get an email where you have to confirm to the adjusted terms that will be outlined there.
  • Is there any allergens I should be aware of?
Unfortunately, yes. I own both cats and a dog, and it's impossible to keep allergens and fur away. On the bright side, both my mom and I have our share of different allergies, as well as my having been the cool kid in school that went to asthma and allergy camp every summer, so I will be taking any precautions I can. There will be a note in the listings also informing of this.
  • Are finished items washed and blocked?
Yes, they will be unless otherwise requested. Shawls will be washed and blocked upon purchase to ensure they are as allergen free as they can be. Apparel is washed when listed on the shop, and will be washed before shipping if requested. Should you happen to want to wash the item yourself, I will be available to help guide you through the blocking process and we will schedule that together after you have received your item(s). A washing guide will be printed and is included in your parcel, and you can always contact me to get one sent digitally as well.
  • How do I wash the items?
There will be care instructions included in the package, and will also be sent to the email you provide upon purchase.
  • What does signing up for an account mean?
When signing up to an account on this site, you will be notified of new patterns that become available after their test periods, receive any discounts, and be notified of ready-to-ship drops in the shop - all sent to you directly in your email inbox. Don't worry, I won't be spamming you with constant emails, I promise :) Account data will be handled according to GDPR, and only the information you provide directly will be saved. Accounts are made so you have an online portal available to have a backup for any patterns you may have purchased. You can at any time request for your account and all related data to be deleted.
  • If I already have a pattern for a crochet item, can I send it to you for a commissioned item?
No. Or, at least not without explicit permission from the designer you have bought the pattern from. If I need to buy a pattern first, it will be added to your commission deposit.
  • How long will it take for a commissioned item to be shipped?
That is different from item to item. Some take barely a weekend, some take a few months. It will also depend on whether or not I have yarn on hand for the item or if I will need to source it first.
  • How long does shipping take?
This is dependent on the postal workers, and how long it takes to go through customs.
  • What is your return/exchange policy?
All physical items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Refunds are dependent on the item being returned in original condition, and will be processed upon the return of the item. The buyer is responsible for return shipping fees. Physical items can in some cases be exchanged for other items of the same type, or be exchanged for a commission. In the case of exchanging an item for putting in a commission for the same item, the equivalent commission deposit will be non-refundable, leaving it only eligible for a partial refund. Deposits for commissions and digital files are non-refundable. As much as is possible, I will work with you to find a solution to any inquiries you may have, so don't hesitate to reach out
  • Where do you ship to?
Almost globally. As long as PostNord has it as an option, I ship there. If you are unsure, reach out and I will double check your location is on the list. All physical items are shipped from here in Denmark with tracking. My default courier is PostNord, so if you want to have it shipped with a different courier, it will be an extra charge for that, but do let me know and I will see what I can do. As a standard, there is free shipping globally.
